The 3-disc clutch is sufficient for all original and lightly tuned engines. Additionally, the adjustment with 3 discs is easier, ensuring the clutch always separates cleanly and does not slip. For tuned engines, the use of a 4-disc clutch is advisable.
We recommend soaking the clutch linings in SAE-30 Vespa gearbox oil for several hours
