Installation Instructions for the Ignition
- The two wires of the ignition stator plate, black and blue, are connected to the wiring harness.
- The three wires, green, red, and white, are connected to the CDI.
To turn off the engine, the green wire from the handlebar switch must still be connected to the ignition. Since there is no green wire in the strand leading to the wiring harness, the green wire from the kill switch is connected to the 4th terminal of the CDI, which otherwise normally remains unused.
