166cc racing cylinder kit from Malossi.
Suitable for Vespa PX 125.
The Malossi was planned from above to raise the timing by Kobold (GSF) and subsequently coated with anti-corrosion protection (costs around €50 including shipping).
The cylinder outlet was conservatively expanded upwards and to the side in a trapezoidal shape.
Approximately 63.5° width at about 188° exhaust timing.
The cylinder kit is unused and has never been installed.
The Malossi can be moderate, or it can boast an intense resonance entry. This cylinder is designed for use with a resonance exhaust pipe (REP) like the ATOM, but also works quite well with breadbox exhausts.
An appropriate cylinder base gasket is required (probably +/- 2.0 mm).
This kit offers an affordable entry point for tuners looking for a strong base for economical small-block engine cases, allowing them to influence the engine characteristics without needing to machine or mill first.
The conservative machining provides a lot of room for improvement and offers high durability in this state.
The channels are thoroughly chamfered.
